The Indian two-wheeler market wrapped up December 2025 on a very strong note, reflecting sustained consumer demand across commuter motorcycles, scooters, and electric two-wheelers. According to sales data, the top 10 highest-selling two-wheelers together recorded 10,49,549 units, marking an impressive 42.53% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 7,36,372 units sold in December 2024.

Hero Splendor Remains India’s Best-Selling Two-Wheeler

Hero Splendor once again topped the sales chart, reaffirming its unmatched popularity in the Indian market. The commuter motorcycle registered 2,80,760 units sold in December 2025, a solid 45.90% YoY growth over the 1,92,438 units sold in December 2024.

Its reliability, excellent fuel efficiency, and affordable ownership costs continue to make the Splendor the first choice for millions of Indian buyers.

Honda Activa Continues Scooter Segment Dominance

At second place overall, the Honda Activa remained the best-selling scooter in India. Honda sold 1,81,604 units in December 2025, registering a massive 50.11% YoY growth.
